The Rustic Cottages includes nineteen Old Tahoe-style homes, all with personal restrooms. Originally the sawmill and labor camp of the Brockway Lumber Company, the property was converted to getaway cottages in 1925. Our cottages are all different - each with its own charm and modern-day benefits. The Rustic Cottages is centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, across the street from the lake - and just a stone's throw away from a sandy beach and the water's edge.
