DescriptionThe SpaceTwo bedrooms, two full bathrooms in this two level apartment in the incredible Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan! Walk out the door and within a block you will be able to go to restaurants like Clinton Street Baking Company, Cocoa Bar, Pig and Khao, wd50, Cube 63, Fatta Cuckoo, Donnybrook--and soon Ivan Ramen will be across the street! Walk a few more blocks, and you'll be at the famous Katz's Deli, the Meatball Shop, Stanton Social, Calexico, inoteca, Spitzer's, Essex Street Market---and the list goes on and on! And, those are mostly restaurants--the bars and galleries are just as plentiful--with one of my favorite live music venues Rockwood Music Hall just a few blocks away, too!The Essex Street subway stop with the F, M, J and Z lines at Delancey Street is just about three blocks away, and the 2nd Ave. subway stop is about the same distance. Get to almost any neighborhood in Manhattan and Brooklyn within about ten to fifteen minutes on the subway--that includes SoHo, the West Village, Chelsea, Herald Square, Times Square and even Central Park! Or, take the subway in the opposite direction, and you're one stop away from Brooklyn....you can even walk over the Williamsburg Bridge and you're in the heart of the Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are also downtown trains from Essex Street which go to Chinatown, Tribeca, Wall Street and downtown--the site of the Freedom Tower and the new museums around the 9/11 site.The apartment has two bedrooms--one with a full bed on the second floor and one with a queen bed on the first floor. The black leather couch in the living room flattens into a full size bed. The second floor bedroom has its own full bathroom, and the first floor has a full bathroom---that's TWO FULL BATHROOMS! Each bathroom has marble tiled walls and a full bath and shower. There is a LARGE OUTDOOR DECK off the 2nd floor bedroom! The kitchen includes a refrigerator, sink, stove and microwave. All towels, linens, pots, pans, plates, silverware, coffee pot, etc. are provided.Cable TV and WiFi are provided.Guest AccessThe entire apartment is yours during your stay!Interaction with GuestsI generally meet guests when they arrive to give a tour of the apartment and answer any questions and hand out the keys....after that, the apartment is yours to enjoy!The NeighborhoodProbably the hottest and most unique neighborhood in all of Manhattan! The Lower East Side offers one of a kind restaurants, galleries, shops and bars! You won't find the restaurants and 'chains' that you find in every other city! When you walk out the front door, you'll find excitement in every direction. It's also a great spot for getting to the west side of Manhattan cause it's close to the F train which runs from the Lower East Side to Soho, the West Village, Chelsea, Times Square, Midtown and Central Park!Getting aroundThe Delancey-Essex stop is a few blocks away and the F M J and Z lines all stop there! Another few blocks away, at 1st Avenue, is the 2nd Avenue Stop where the F train also stops!Buses run on Houston St., Ave. A, 1st and 2nd Aves--those are the most nearby routes.Other Things to NoteThe beauty of my apartment is that you can travel with one, two or three other people and you'll feel like you have your own privacy since the bedrooms and bathrooms are located on two different floors. And, you don't have to share a bathroom with your travel companions since each bathroom has its own shower/tub included! They are identical bathrooms on each floor. Also, a separate door from the elevator opens into each level of the apartment which also allows privacy between you and your travel companions if you're looking for that!House RulesOne queen bed, one full bed, and one couch that flattens into a bed.
