Less than a 2 minute walk to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, this 3 star resort offers free Wi-Fi and suites with a cable TV. It has an indoor pool with a hot tub.Each brightly decorated suite comes with a kitchen and living room. The kitchen includes a microwave and a fridge, while the spacious living room has large sofas. A hairdryer is in the bathroom.Guests can work out in the gym. They can also play a game of pool in the game room. There is a playground for younger guests.The Atrium Resort is less than a 2 minute drive from Jungle Golf mini golf and the Old Coast Guard Station Museum. Several restaurants are located within walking distance.ReviewWe stayed during July 2013 and were pleasantly surprised! Upon arrival we were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff that quickly got us to our room.The room and resort were incredibly clean. Staff were mopping the floors nearly each time I passed through. The room was adequate for our needs with a pull out sofa bed, small galley kitchen (equipped with a stove top, convection microwave, dishwasher and some cookware/dishes), and a bedroom.The rooms do not have outdoor balconies. The facility includes an indoor pool and hot tub, indoor bike rack, a schedule of activities, wifi, a complementary popcorn machine and washer/dryer.It is located a few blocks back from the beach, but only about a 2 block walk away. The location is excellent on 21st street as it is in the center of the boardwalk with many restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Great place - would certainly recommend!
