I've had this vacation package that I paid $600 for back in 2008.. It came with a 5 year extension which I just confirmed today (12/11/12)that reservations can be made up until March 2013 and the reservations can be made for a trip as late as September 2013 (6 months out from March)Package includes:4 Days 3 Nights in Orlando, Florida^^ includes either 2 theme park passes or an economy car rental for one week ^^3 Days 2 Nights in Daytona Beach, Florida5 days 4 Nights in the Bahamas with Cruise transportation in Florida to & from^^ This Package has an additional total cost of $269 per person (includes any & all fees) ^^not bad for a cruise transport and 5 day 4 night stay in Bahamas..Transportation to Florida is Not included in this Package..It is one of those time share presentation vacations where you must dedicate around 90 minutes on one of the days to listen to their spiel about purchasing a time share..I've heard they are pushy, but if you're not interested, just politely decline & enjoy the rest of your significantly discounted vacation :]Terms and Conditions:1. In order to receive the accommodations offered in the destinations described in this promotional package, you are required to attend a 90 minute courteous sales presentation and tour of and at all reserved accommodation sponsoring resort properties. (Approx. 90 minutes (minimum) (60-minute minimum Update for Owners of Summer Bay Resorts) breakfast or lunch Owners update during breakfast or lunch hours on a day designated (scheduled) by the resorts Welcome Center, during your stay(s)) you must be in full time employment or retired (All parties- both spouses, significant others or cohabitating partner) at the time of use of the accommodations package. If you fail to attend either of the required presentations you will be charged the retail value (full rate) for the accommodations you have reserved/received and also be denied the issuance of gifts contained on the said purchased packages. Participants can NOT tour on the date of arrival (minimum one night's hotel, motel, condo or vacation home stay must be completed prior to tour). The package holder is required to meet the current Financial requirements of Summer Bay Resort.2. This offer is designed for couples and families traveling together for recreational and vacation purposes, not to exceed a maximum of four (4) people per offer (four (4) person max, however singles are permitted as long as they meet the stated requirements. Party mix is acceptable as long as both parties meet participation requirements of package offer and attend the required sales presentation together). Absolutely NO PETS Allowed in resort accommodations or affiliated accommodation facilities. All room accommodations are housed in a standard hotel, motel or one and two bedroom units (depending on type of accommodations package purchased) in the resort area and are all subject to the availability of Summer Bay Resort room allotments. Additional accommodations may be purchased to house larger families in excess of four (4) people. It is your responsibility to pay for additional party members and accommodations in excess of the designated four (4) people maximum and standard accommodations provided for in this offer. Rates may vary by season; alternative seasons are referred to as "peak seasons".3. To participate you must be at least 25 years of age and gainfully employed. Both parties must be between the ages of 25 to 79 years of age to participate in this offer. Retired couples/partners 55 years of age or older must have a household income of $40,000 and meet the current Financial requirements of Summer Bay Resort. If married both husband and wife must attend the tour(s) and sales presentation together. Non-married couples or cohabitating partners must travel and attend the tour(s) together. Married/Non-Married and cohabitating travelers must have and are required to present identification with proof of same mailing address. Full time students and those who are unemployed at the time of travel do not qualify for this offer. This vacation package is an offer designed to promote vacation ownership plans for households with a minimum income of $50,000. In addition to the aforementioned requirements, the package holder is required to meet the current Financial requirements of Summer Bay Resort. All adults must attend presentation (maximum of 6).4. This special offer is limited to one per household or family. No group travel allowed on this special promotional rate. **Group travel is prohibited and is considered two or more couples/families traveling together or separately arriving on the same or alternate date or staying at the same or different accommodation facility using this discounted accommodation package.5. Guests are responsible for all applicable State and Federal taxes. Taxes up to $15 per night tax fee will be collected at time of check out. Long distance phone service, (resort fee of $10 to $12 per day Holiday Inn Guests) and room service fees are extra and are the responsibility of guest. If you fail to show up (NO SHOW) for a scheduled reservation, you will be charged a nonrefundable fee of (Economy Accommodations $75.00, Premium Accommodations $90.00, 2 bed unit Accommodations $120.00) plus retail cost of attraction tickets if issued.6. This offer requires all participants to have two forms of identification upon check-in. A valid driver"s license, Military ID or Passport and a major credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover or Diners Club) at the time of check in. Industry standard requires the participant to pay a refundable security deposit of up to $200.00 at the time of check in at the hotel/resort property and will be refunded at check-out minus applicable damages and/or fees incurred as a result of or your stay in the accommodations. Refundable deposits will be credited back to the payment method provided at time of check out minus any costs, damages, or any unpaid balance(s) due.7. Both parties must be able to speak, read, write and understand English or Spanish fluently and be capable of entering into a legal contract. No tour will be accepted from Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia, Pinellas, Polk or Hillsborough counties.8. Participants who are scheduled to tour other facilities/properties in Orlando while on this package offer are disqualified from use of the package offer which will become invalid. This offer may NOT be used in conjunction with any promotional offer or for use with another vacation ownership week *(not for use if combined with RCI, Timeshare Ownership or other package scheduling travel). Two or more vacation packages may NOT be used at the same time extending your dates of travel. If you choose to purchase multiple vacation packages and use two as specified above, all remaining packages will not be toured, gifted or housed by Summer Bay Resort. Participants must have not toured any Summer Bay Resort property within the past 12 months (year).9. Summer Bay Resort reserves the right to charge to the user of the discounted accommodations package for additional costs related to the use of the package up to retail value or rack rate cost of accommodations, and any and all additional cost which may occur as a result of the use of the package offer.10. To be eligible for selected reservations and package use, ALL OWNERS on the DEED are required to travel and attend the minimum 90 minute presentation together. Failure of all parties on the DEED to travel and attend the required presentation will result in forfeiture of the package and associated gift(s). Additionally, the package holder could/may/will be charged the daily rental rate for the scheduled/reserved accommodations and/or applicable NQ (Non-qualified Fee) of $199.00.11. Retired couples/partners 55 years of age or older must have a household income of $40,000 and meet the current Financial requirements of Summer Bay Resort.12. Guest is responsible to pay all required resort amenity fees for the rental/use of said amenities' either provided by the resort or affiliated vendor of said amenities; the VIP All Access Card is not a substitute for payment and only provides the customer "ACCESS" to the resort itself. All gifts provided on the product offer may be pre-gifted upon arrival, but are subject to the package user(s) qualification to tour and the completion of the required tour. If the package holder(s)/user(s) is/are not qualified to tour based on requirements of this product or do not tour then he/she will not be gifted and will assumes full responsibility of the cost of items that were received as a pre-gift/gifted.13. Additional package offers and/or gifts provided in conjunction of your Summer Bay Resort Accommodation package purchase have separate terms and conditions, which limit the number of participants, age, gender, marital status and income for participation to receive accommodations in accordance to the select accommodation provider facilities rules/restrictions. (Spain, Las Vegas, Cancun, Costa Rica, Napa, etc.). Details regarding the select accommodation facilities will be provided upon making reservations for those select gifted packages. Additional costs associated with certain accommodation locations are independent of Summer Bay Resort and charged by the Sponsoring property providing accommodations or facility use. All three day/two night (3/2) accommodations offers are designed to accommodate two (2) people, but may be upgraded at certain facility locations to accommodate larger parties (4 party maximum).14. If you choose to participate in the Optional (Bahamian Cruise) independent of the Bahaman Accommodation portion of any package offer, it is your sole responsibility to arrange travel to the accommodation location. If you choose to participate in the optional Cruise portion if offered in lieu of making your independent travel arrangements you will be required to pay applicable port, service and transportation costs. The cancellation policy of the Cruise provider is different from Summer Bay Resorts cancellation policy and the sole responsibility of the purchaser to meet in accordance with his/her scheduled travel arrangements.15. If your package included a Rental Car optional of receiving attraction tickets you will be responsible for paying all applicable costs (carrier fees, fuel, insurance, additional equipment fees, surcharges, taxes, peak season rental fees, additional driver(s) (age) fees, upgrades, etc.). Rental car must be scheduled for use at least thirty (30) days prior to scheduled/requested travel period to assure availability through the rental car provider. Once Rental Car is scheduled in conjunction of accommodations stay it may NOT be rescheduled for any reason. Attempting to reschedule Rental Car after accommodation dates have been taken will result in forfeiture of the car rental option and cancellation of existing car rental reservation. Rental Car will be held for a maximum of a 24 hours period beginning the date of pick-up (per agreement with rental car agency) if you fail to arrive or secure your car rental it will be immediately released back to rental car inventory for general reservation use thereafter.
