As hosts, we remain on the property full time and operate as a bed and breakfast/hostel style environment. We welcome you to respectfully enjoy our home as if it were your own, with access to the living areas, decks, eat in kitchens, etc.In order to accommodate you or your group appropriately, I will need additional information about your party. For example, your group may not fit in one room, you may wish to occupy more than one room or request the entire home (Not available May thru November). Charges vary by person, room, weekends/special holidays or events. Since we offer many options, the site calculator and/or calendar may NOT always be correct. Ideally located to call home base when working in the city or visiting to explore the local attractions. Our clean, safe home is nestled conveniently between the 24/7 speedy Red line and Brown Addison train stops. The 9 (North and south) and the 152 (East and West) bus stops are at each end of our block.Wrigley Field is just a short walk from our home and baseball fans enjoy free parking as our guest for game nites.After dark when the "Loop" and downtown sites are desolate, enjoy the uniqueness of one of the best North side neighborhoods, Lakeview. Experience great restaurants, a plethora of bars, shop at our local stores all within walking distance at nearby Lincoln Avenue and Wrigleyville. Just 2 blocks away, check out the up and coming Southport Corridor and Music Box Theater.The speedy train will have you to the steps of all area sites within minutes; such as Magnificient Mile for the shoppers, Museum Campus for those who wish to explore the Shedd Aquarium, Field and Science and Planetarium. Or if your wish is to wander Navy Pier or take in the beauty of Lake Shore Drive and the miles of lakefront bike paths, this is it.The Bean, Millennium Park, Grant Park, Soldier Field, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park and the free Zoo all easy trips as are neighborhoods like Old Town for a visit to Second City, great restaurants and nightlife or trendy Bucktown and Wicker Park for shopping or food tours .Nearby DePaul and Loyola make this a great stay for parent visits or temporary housing for college students on break or while awaiting permenant housing. Ask for the spacious bed underneath:)Our place is a great option for those adventurous spirits looking to "live like a local" in a safe, clean and inexpensive pad while seeing the sites.Share this convenient space with fellow travelers or meet other working guests in transition and moving to the area. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast to get your day started while hearing about other guests journeys. Wind down at the end of a long day of site seeing on one of 3 outdoor decks. Learn about where fellow travelers are from and where they are headed. Enjoy impromptu s'mores in the fire pit or a glass of wine with other guests and hosts.We've got it all! Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Jewel Osco are just a couple of blocks. We provide Wifi, cable TV, parking, etc. We love hosting out of town guests and ensuring they have a great experience. We provide free parking passes to our guests on game nites, however, if you would like an in and out covered parking space, we do have one or two available for $25 per day which is a reasonable price for this City. The parking for hotels per nite is $25 to $50 per day!***Wish to maintain your workout? Visit Xsports Fitness within walking distance.
